Hard
edges
This series leans toward a harsher, more angular perspective of New York. Moving away from wider, atmospheric work, I roamed mostly empty streets on old industrial corridors. My focus was on smaller components of the urban grid—girders, railings, and signs. Here, strong, direct light cuts the landscape into a sea of jagged lines, sharp fragments, and flat surfaces.
